Gensol Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (GEVPL) has provided a tantalizing glimpse of its upcoming electric car, set to make its debut in March of the following year. Notably, Gensol is deeply entrenched in the ride-hailing sector through its BluSmart venture, distinguished by its exclusive electric vehicle (EV) fleet.

The forthcoming Gensol EV stands out as a compact two-seater, exuding a design reminiscent of petite European cars, characterized by a sleek and sophisticated aesthetic. The frontal profile boasts a distinctive high-set nose, flanked by oval headlamps adorned with halogen lights and LED daytime running lights (DRLs). Rolling on alloy wheels, the vehicle presents a captivating exterior with a generous glasshouse.

Gensol boldly claims that the EV is meticulously crafted for urban landscapes, promising a commendable range of 200km and a top speed of 80 kmph. The cabin interior is thoughtfully appointed, featuring practical elements such as an intuitive infotainment display, user-friendly manual air conditioning controls, and chic blacked-out surfaces.

Adding a touch of sophistication, Gensol intends to offer a moonroof, AI-based cloud analytics, and an array of intelligent features with the EV. Nevertheless, the brand has chosen to keep specifications regarding dimensions and drivetrain under wraps for the time being.

In response to the unveiled teaser, Anmol Singh Jaggi, the Managing Director of Gensol Engineering Ltd., expressed great pride. He underscored the unveiling of this modern car as a substantial contribution to the overarching mission of decarbonizing the planet. Jaggi highlighted the vehicle’s specific focus on addressing the challenges of daily city commuting, portraying the made-in-India all-electric car as a revolutionary force in zero-emission mobility. The manufacturing hub for the Gensol EV is set in Chakan, Pune, equipped with a dedicated testing track. As the countdown to the launch date begins, the company has promised to progressively disclose further details about the EV, generating heightened anticipation among automotive enthusiasts and potential buyers alike.
